Heavy rain and wind knocked out power in dozens of neighborhoods across the Hudson Valley overnight.
In Mount Vernon, Con Ed officials say about 50 customers woke up without power this morning. They say a 50-foot tree came down across Pennsylvania Avenue and took down wires and snapped two poles.
Officials say there were no injuries, but there were minor scratches to one car.
Utility officials say power was restored to all areas by mid-morning.
