Stony Point woman pleads guilty to mother's fatal stabbing

Marilyn Mora, 27, admitted to the crime, which was witnessed by her husband who was on the phone with 911 at the time.

A Stony Point woman has pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing her mother, Doris Quispe, 60, in their home in December 2022.
Marilyn Mora, 27, admitted to the crime, which was witnessed by her husband who was on the phone with 911 at the time.
When police arrived, they found Mora's husband restraining her.
As part of her plea agreement, Mora is expected to receive a 17-year prison sentence when she is sentenced in December.
