Community members took the plunge into the icy cold Hudson River for the Stony Point Seals’ 23rd annual plunge.
The event raises money to help cover the medical expenses of three local children.
“You’d swim across the Hudson for these families and raising money,” says John Coran, a trustee for the Stony Point Seals.
The event also featured music, food, t-shirts and raffles at the Grassy Point Seawall to help raise money for the families.
