Hockey players came together in White Plains Saturday to remember the life of a Connecticut teen who died during a school game.
New Canaan High School student Teddy Balkind was fatally injured during the game in Greenwich on Thursday.
Investigators say the blade of one of the players' skates accidentally cut his neck during the game. He later died at the hospital.
Players had a moment of silence at the Ebersole Ice Rink before they started Saturday's game.
Many hockey enthusiasts in the area have also put hockey sticks in front of their houses as part of the Sticks for Teddy campaign.
