New York State is increasing efforts to ensure driver's safety on the roads this holiday season.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the state police will take part in this year's "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" nationwide crackdown.
According to officials, there will be sobriety checkpoints and increased patrols along highways beginning Friday, Dec. 18 through Jan. 1.
