State police were active in Brewster Friday due to a search for an escaped prisoner.
Authorities say 29-year-old Julio Sosa, of The Bronx, fled from custody while being held on a nonviolent larceny charge.
He was last seen wearing all black and a hot pink coat.
Officials say there is no known threat to the public.
