One person died after a motorcycle crash in Rockland on the state thruway, according to police.

State police say the crash happened just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday night in the northbound lanes. The accident caused damage to a guide rail.

Immediate details surrounding the crash were not available. Police are investigating.
