State police launch DWI crackdown for St. Patrick's Day weekend
A statewide crackdown on drunk driver is expected this St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
State police say there will be sobriety checkpoints and additional DWI patrols on duty.
They say they will also be monitoring and looking to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors.
News 12 is told that on this weekend last year, State police made 243 arrests and issued nearly 13,000 tickets.
