The wet weather is creating problems for drivers across the Hudson Valley.

State police say one of their cruisers was involved in a four-vehicle crash on the eastbound side of I-84 in the town of Southeast around 9:30 a.m. today. The northbound ramp for I-684 was also closed for hours as a result of the accident.

Police say the state trooper pulled over to assist a motorist on the side of the highway when he was hit by a third car coming off the ramp. A fourth vehicle also suffered damage.

Police say there were no life-threatening injuries.
