A Spring Valley man was charged with murder Wednesday in connection with a beating death in the village last month.
Malik Baptist was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with killing Segundo Guallpa in a robbery on Johnson Street on Aug. 17.
Authorities say Alfred Degraw III was arrested for the assault two days later.
Two other men have also been arrested in connection with the crime.
