Investigators say a chain-reaction fire that started with dry leaves caused damage to a Spring Valley home and destroyed two cars.
The flames broke out early Monday morning in the brush of a property on Ridge Avenue. It took about a half-hour for firefighters to get the blaze under control.
Two cars on the property went up in flames and were left as burned-out husks.
All of the home's residents were able to safely exit.
Officials have not determined a specific cause, but say the fire could be suspicious.
