A Westchester hockey team, comprised entirely of special needs players, took to the ice Sunday to compete in a tournament.
The New York Raptors competed in the annual Winter Classic at the Westchester Skating Academy.
This year, the Raptors took on the Southern Connecticut Storm.
The game wasn't just about fun. It was also the Raptors biggest fundraiser of the year, raising money for things like ice time, equipment and road trips.
The event was organized by the Westchester adult league team, the Ice Breakers.
