A serious crash brought all southbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh to a complete stop early this morning.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m., causing traffic to back up for a long stretch with cars at a standstill. Sources said it may involve multiple vehicles, but injuries had not been confirmed.
News 12 camera captured five vehicles being towed from the scene.
Crews cleared the crash around 7:30 a.m., and all lanes have since reopened.
Earlier, cars were not moving past the scene, and the backup extended far beyond the Ardsley Road overpass, where drivers were seen out of their vehicles while traffic remained stopped.
Residual delays remain as traffic slowly recovers.
