After months of speculation, Westchester County Executive George Latimer has reportedly made the decision to run in a Democratic primary against Rep. Jamaal Bowman.

This information comes from three sources who spoke to News 12’s Tara Rosenblum.

Bowman currently represents New York's 16th Congressional District, which encompasses parts of Westchester and Bronx.

Latimer is expected to make his official announcement in the next few weeks.

Attempts to reach Latimer and his team for comment this afternoon were unsuccessful. News 12 also reached out to Bowman for his reaction.
