Sources: Longtime Westchester Judge Susan Cacace to join race for county DA

News 12 learned Friday longtime a Westchester County judge will enter the crowded Democratic primary for Westchester's top law enforcement job.
Multiple sources tell News 12 Senior Reporter Tara Rosenblum that Acting Supreme Court Justice Susan Cacace will officially join the race early next week.
Cacace has served on the bench for the past 19 years. Before that, she served more than a decade as an assistant Westchester district attorney.
Cacace will become the fifth Democrat to express interest in the open seat that is currently held by outgoing District Attorney Mimi Rocah.
