Our fly meteorologist right there, Alex. Kama. Alex. What do you got for us? Thanks. Hi. Well, I don't want to burst your bubble. So we're going to start talking about good stuff. We've got mild weather with highs in the fifties and cloudy skies. Yes, but it is dry today. So those are the good things about this weekend. Unfortunately, tomorrow, if you have plans, you need the umbrella to join you back as the special guest. We've got plenty of rain coming our direction. Tomorrow, temperatures are nice all afternoon actually. Really by mid morning we're heading mid f there is some of this low cloud cover and fog lingering for the early morning. I do think that clears out by lunchtime highs today hit close to 60 if you are heading into midtown, you just might hit 60 same out there on Staten Island. But here in the Bronx, we're expecting temperatures to be just a bit below that. You're in the forties and close to 50 overnight tonight. So that's a mild feel, but it does come with showers starting around nine or so. And then a widespread rain pretty much all day Sunday especially. It looks like the morning time right now that east breeze feels gross. Let's time it out for you. You see again pretty cloudy tonight, but mainly dry until around midnight. Midnight is light shower activity and then it becomes a steady moderate rain for Sunday morning. So you need the umbrella, you need to use the windshield wipers and you just need your patience too. If you're walking around outside in the mid morning on Sunday, it is just a soaker. Look at the yellows and oranges. This is some solid, pretty steady rain. This is two o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday. It doesn't clear out until about 56 o'clock. So the whole day time it's gloomy and it's miserable. It's a guarantee it's going to rain and then we are dry for the work week. So that's good news. Unfortunately, we don't want to talk about the work week on a Saturday. We'll do it anyway though. We're expecting temperatures to drop into the forties on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then we are bogging out Thursday morning, start of Hanukkah. Things start to warm up into next weekend. So a little bit of an improvement there with another chance of rain.

First full weekend of December officially upon us, but it doesn't really feel like it out there at all. Was that 60 degrees for Saturday? Really nice. Can't complain a little wet though today. Yeah, it was a little wet a couple of hours ago, but at least we got some dry conditions to kick off the weekend. That will be quickly changing by Sunday. Here's what you can expect. Waves of rain starting Saturday night into Sunday night. So that's going to be a long duration storm where we are expecting rounds of rain, steady rain with a few downpours possible. So you're gonna have to watch for some puddles ponding on area roadways. And if you live somewhere that has poor drainage, you're probably going to see some more of that localized flooding. In terms of tomorrow morning, we're starting off chilly. Temperatures near 46 degrees areas of fog will be to move into our area. It will lift and clouds will still be with us throughout the afternoon with temperatures topping out near 58 degrees muted sunshine. So not seeing that sunshine that we like to see, but at least it's going to remain dry. During the evening, it is still going to remain dry with clouds, but showers do arrive late after midnight. That's where we start to see some of that wet weather pushing through. But at least we got these unseasonably mild temperatures. Our average high 49 degrees. We're not going to see the forties until the midweek. And that's also where we start to see there. I say some festive flakes returning back to our area. But in the meantime, let's just enjoy the dry weather. So some clouds and fog to start our Saturday, it is going to remain dry throughout the day. Temperatures will be topping out near 58 degrees and we got some rain.

With a look at your hyper local forecast that looks pretty good this morning felt good. Is it going to stick around? Yes. Do you know, I think it will, you know, especially with these temperatures, as I think really the silver lining for this weekend's weather story now notice close to 55 degrees by one o'clock and three. What's not to love, notice our weather icons though. Yes, it's cloudy and it will remain that way. Some limited sunshine into the afternoon could be expected, but this is what we're also trying for tomorrow. Some showers a light in nature, widespread and long lasting. So think for the better half of tomorrow, you're going to be using the umbrellas, especially if you're heading out and about for tomorrow when it's all said and done totals look like this. So anything from a half, close to three quarters for coastal communities and even more upwards towards touring in Litchfield County closer to an inch. So it's nuisance rain. It's not so much. Um We're not expecting any concerns with the system tomorrow today. Enjoy cloudy and mild temperatures and some showers off to our north could be dripping back down. But I really think that for the most part we are going to send, still stand dry for today. 45 heading into fifties west and take a look at that 56 degrees. It's mild. I mean, we really shouldn't be seeing these types of temperatures as we're heading started as we're getting started into the month of December. But here we go. Don't worry that downward trend and temperatures is coming very soon as we walk you through our future cast by two o'clock in the morning. So overnight, not truly impactful when the showers arrive but very long lasting. So as we're waking up around 56 o'clock in the morning, tomorrow, the showers are here and they're here to stay. Sometimes they start to lighten up a little bit, becoming a bit more isolated. And then by 10 o'clock in the morning, we'll notice those more moderate heavier pockets noted here in the dark green as well as the yellows heading into lunch time, you'll still need that umbrella by two o'clock heading into four. That's when we're starting to notice a bit more impactful wet weather. So take it slow if you're driving, um, especially in the merit as well as 95 by five into seven o'clock, things exit calming down significantly. The clouds will linger until Monday. So perhaps maybe a damp start heading into Monday and a bit more seasonable temperatures return by Tuesday, Wednesday, 39. By Thursday. The start of Hanukkah.

First weekend of December. But hey, it feels like November still. We have mild air in place. Unfortunately, this is gonna keep fog around for the first half of the morning, especially for Westchester Rockland, maybe Putnam County getting in on widespread fog for the rest of the morning too. So basically the lower Hudson Valley has the best risk for that temperatures warm up pretty quickly. We're talking near 50 by the time you hit lunch and we could, in places like Yonkers and S A 287 hits 60 degrees what in December? But again, it does come with a lot of cloud cover. So it's not a beautiful looking day. There'll be some peaks of sun this afternoon today though. Really isn't a big issue. If you have afternoon plans. The fog is a slight problem for morning plans tonight. We do have rain mostly after midnight. So if you're a late night owl, you're getting in on that Sunday morning, it's a wash right from the start. Mostly white rain, but there will be pockets of heavy rain throughout the morning and the afternoon on Sunday. I really don't see much dry time if any during the daylight on Sunday it goes soup weather, it goes gloomy and, you know, it's not cold but it's gonna feel cold when you have that kind of rain just so widespread across the area. Monday morning commute. Not that we want to talk about the commute on a Saturday morning, but either way Monday morning does look good if you're planning it. Ok. How about rain again? Not much if any today. But tomorrow I am expecting half of an inch to an inch of rain across the Hudson Valley. So that's pretty decent. But it happens over the course of the whole day, 100% guarantee it does rain. But again, we're not expecting this to be a really heavy rain. It's just a persistent steady rain all day. Temperatures drop into the forties for the upcoming week.

It's gonna cool down again in the 10 day. Let's talk about the bigger issue, which is going to be the rain tomorrow. So we do have cloudy skies all weekend, obviously a fog out there this morning too. So that's creating some visibility issues. But on Sunday, it is a steady rain for a good chunk of the day. So today is the pick out of the weekend. There'll be some peaks of sunshine this afternoon around lunch, but not much of it. Temperatures are in the mid ff maybe even upper fifties if we get enough sunshine, but I would not count on the sun. It's gonna be a possibility that we, you got a few breaks in the clouds, but most of the day is pretty cloudy. This is 5 p.m. the sun is already set and temperatures are still in the fifties. So you don't need the heavy winter jacket. Just a light jacket. Today will do dinner time is mainly dry, but after 89 o'clock, there could be some spritzes and stray showers. It's a all day full LG wash out on Sunday, light rain in the morning, check this out. Temperatures are in the fifties in the morning, that's above average for the afternoon at this point in the year. But we don't warm up on Sunday. It's gonna stay 50 all day with this very persistent, very steady and very damp rain that just sticks around until I'd say about six o'clock or so. So, if you have any brunch lunch, early dinner plans Sunday, I just don't see a lot of opportunity for dry time for you here. So we're gonna keep that in mind. Temperatures are not bad all the way through Monday. We're hanging out in the fifties. Today's high of 56 is the warmest that we've actually seen since mid November morning. Lows are in the forties, so no worries about frost. No worries about cold when you're stepping out the door. Tuesday morning, we're back down to 36. So that's kind of setting the stage for a cooler upcoming work week, 46 there, 43 on Wednesday and 42 on Thursday. It's not the coldest set we've seen, but it is definitely pretty chilly for that first night of Hanukkah. Expected to definitely feel like it is December, but we rebound a little bit next weekend with another chance for some rain. Just a little heads up on that. But the work week does look dry. Not that we want to talk about the work week on a Saturday, but that's how it's shaping up

A check of your local weather with storm watch team, meteorologist. H the good morning there. It's a great start to our day. Some fo is expected to dissipate as we head into the afternoon time frame. But notice our temperatures here very close to 60 degrees. That is a big departure from where we should be for this time as we tiptoeing into the month of December the first weekend of December and it does not feel like it now come, tomorrow will notice the rounds of showers heading from the overnight very early start. We're talking like 45 o'clock in the morning. That is pretty persistent throughout the first half of the day, especially right around 12 o'clock, we notice a little bit of decrease with the rain showers, but it will be on and off when it's all said and done. Notice our cumulation here close to an inch and some portions of the state, especially talking about Essex Union and Hudson counties, but it's cloudy and mild and I think that's really the silver lining for this weekend. It's gray, but it's still nice and warm and definitely great to head out with a little bit of less layering. Right as we head into the afternoon time frame, very close to 60 degrees. Today, the clouds will continue to build and thicken throughout the evening time frame. By the overnight, not truly impactful here, we'll notice some rain falling and then more pockets of heavier and moderate rainfall come in to play right around eight o'clock tomorrow morning. So if you are heading out for Sunday service, make sure that you grab your umbrella as you're heading out the door. As you'll notice it will feature a rainy day. Rounds of rain are potentially, I'm going to be impacting large portions of central and northern New Jersey, especially after two o'clock and heading into five things slowly start to improve.
