Some high profile Republican members of Winged Foot Golf Club say they are upset with management for not hanging a portrait of President Donald Trump – who has been a member of the club since 1969.
The tiff was first reported by Page Six earlier this week.
Some of the 800 members of the club, who shell out $200,000 a year for membership, say the president should have some type of recognition at the club.
The club's general manager told News 12 that he had no comment and asked News 12 reporter Richard Giacovas and crew to leave the property.
Winged Foot will be the site of the 2020 U.S. Open.
