Wednesday was another day of cleaning up all the snow around Westchester County.

"We got nothing to do, we're just cleaning up. Trying to help out the neighbors because a lot of them are elderly," says Lupe Pena, of Yonkers.

Pena isn't the only one still shoveling up all the snow. Crews around the county are still in cleanup mode.

The commissioner for the City of Yonkers Department of Public Works says clean-up efforts haven't stopped. They're continuing to work on dead ends and other streets.

Those efforts will keep going in the days ahead.

"We are making progress," says Commissioner Thomas Meier.

Also, Yonkers officials say that they're hiring emergency snow shovelers. Details about that can be found HERE.

Some residents say there are streets that still need work.

"It takes like two or three days just to clean up," says Miguel Diaz, of Yonkers.

Others tell News 12 that they've noticed a lot of progress.

"This time they did a pretty good job, I was able to get out my Mustang this time," Pena tells News 12.
