The villages of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown, along with Tarrytown public schools, won a grant for safer streets.
They've been awarded $340,000 from the Department of Transportation.
The money will go toward developing a plan to prevent deaths and injuries on roads using a data driven safety analysis.
The villages and the district plan to reach out to the community for input in 2024.
