A Sleepy Hollow High School student is accused of bringing a stun gun to school.
The stun gun was reportedly confiscated by school officials on Oct. 15, but was not reported to Sleepy Hollow police until Oct. 29.
The 17-year-old has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree. There is no word on why she brought it to the North Broadway school.
While some residents who spoke with News 12 say they don't consider the stun gun to be a major concern, they are questioning why school officials took two weeks to report the incident.
The confiscation came just five days after 17-year-old Tahj Robinson was stabbed to death in a village park.. A 16-year-old has been charged with that crime.
