A Sleepy Hollow man has pleaded guilty to all charges, including attempted murder, in the shooting of his former girlfriend.
Ruben Santiago, 40, entered his plea yesterday in County Court, according to the Westchester District Attorney's Office.
Authorities say Santiagoviolated an order of protection in January of last year when he entered the victim's home in the village and shot her while young children were present. The victim was subsequently treated at a hospital.
It was also reported that Santiago had assaulted the victim the month before and had violated numerous orders of protection.
A County Court judge indicated that he would sentence Santiago to 20 years to life in prison in April.
