A shocking discovery of skeletal remains was made today by a New Windsor man walking his dog.
State police say the bones, which could possibly be human remains, were found in a wooded area off of Forge Hill Road and State Route 94 in the Town of New Windsor.
An anthropologist has been called in to work with the Orange County medical examiner to examine the bones for a possible identity.
New Windsor police have stated that they don't have any open missing persons cases that match what they know about these remains so far.
