Gunshots broke the late night silence in Mount Vernon this morning.
Mount Vernon police say the shots were fired around 1:30 a.m. today on South 8th Avenue.
Investigators say several shell casings were found on the roadway, and bullet holes were in several parked cars as well.
No injuries or any arrests have been reported
