Police say three shots were fired at the Schlobohm Houses housing project along Palisades Avenue in Yonkers early Friday evening, but no one was injured.
According to authorities, someone fired the shots at a group of men around 5:30 p.m. One person was taken in for questioning.
There have been six shootings in the area this month. Some residents in Yonkers say they fear such shootings are planned out gang retaliations. Anti-gang activist Jim Bostic says often several people know the shootings are going to happen ahead of time.
The district attorney?s office has said it will increase focus on schools, where gangs often begin.
