With snow falling in the The Bronx this afternoon, residents hit up supermarkets this morning to stock up on their last-minute Thanksgiving necessities.
The day before Thanksgiving is not only the busiest day to travel, but according to the store manager at a local grocery store, it's one of the busiest days for grocery stores as well.
Super Foodtown manager Harry Celentano says his store is always packed with customers on the day before Thanksgiving, but today it's more crowded than usual with people trying to beat the snow.
The rain turned to snow in the afternoon and is expected to end this evening.
