Michael Nolan's mother tells News 12 that her son had surgery yesterday to relieve pressure on his brain. She says he is "holding his own" and fighting, but it's still a waiting game.
The 23-year-old is still in critical condition after being shot on Central Avenue last month.
No arrests have been made yet in the shooting.
