Shakespeare Festival eyes new amphitheater overlooking Hudson River

Sen. Chuck Schumer has announced a pending bill funding the expansion of the amphitheater with $1.5 million, which will go towards completing the 98-acre property in Philipstown.

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is hoping to move to a new home in Garrison, New York, overlooking the Hudson River.
Sen. Chuck Schumer has announced a pending bill funding the expansion of the amphitheater with $1.5 million, which will go towards completing the 98-acre property in Philipstown.
The amphitheater will also be used for events like blood drives and farmer’s market.
