Seniors cut some rug at Glen Island Park dance party in New Rochelle

Nearly 2,000 seniors gathered at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle on Wednesday for Westchester County's Senior Dance Party.
The event, hosted by the Department of Senior Programs and Services and Westchester Parks, featured dance lessons, a DJ, and plenty of fun.
"This is how the seniors party... We want to thank Westchester County and White Plains for knowing how to treat seniors," said one attendee.
"Life is not just about services and survival. Life is about having some fun. And this is the way they're having fun today and getting exercises and activities," added another.
The party also offered free bus rides to attendees, courtesy of Bee-Line Bus Service. It was a day of joy, socialization, and celebration for the seniors in attendance.
