There is welcome update on a Hudson Valley senator's recovery from COVID-19.
Sen. James Skoufis (D-39th District) released a statement saying he has fully recovered and, as of today, is able to come out of self-isolation.
The 32-year-old added that the past two weeks were the sickest he has ever been and urges everyone to take the virus with the utmost seriousness.
He says he and his wife remain healthy and is thanking their family, friends, and community for their support during this fight.
