Sen. Gillibrand continues to speak out about Hamas hostages
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand continues to speak out about Hamas hostages on the Senate floor.
She spoke Tuesday, sharing stories about some of the hostages she's learned about, many of whom have some connection to New York or are American citizens.
She mentioned grandparents abducted, a pregnant woman who survived by hiding in her family's safe room and a soldier who was supposed to have reunited with his family, but is instead missing.
Gillibrand says there are more than 200 people being held hostage in Gaza.
She mentioned in her speech she's grateful the two Americans released Friday are doing well, but there are more still suffering, and the U.S. has to keep fighting until they are all home.
