News 12 has obtained security footage capturing the moments neighbors saved a woman's life after she was caught in a house fire on Thursday.
The Ring video shows the moment Port Chester resident Mike Milazzo and several others run toward a burning home at 261 Madison Ave. after hearing someone inside calling for help.
Milazzo and others successfully pulled the woman out who officials believe is the homeowner's mother.
"I think anybody who was in that situation would have probably done the same thing and to be honest with you I wasn't thinking I just did it." said Milazzo.
The fire started around 2 p.m. and more than 100 firefighters rushed to the scene and had it under control in under two hours. Thursday's incident was the second major fire the village's all volunteer department has had to fight this week.
"Everyone helps everyone in a time of need, especially the last couple of days it showed to the fire department," added Port Chester Fire Chief Engineer Angelo Sposta. "We do as much as we can for the community and they do it right back for us."
Fire officials said the woman who was rescued suffered only minor injuries from a fall and possible smoke inhalation.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
