Middletown police say they are continuing to devote “substantial effort and resources” to locate 21-year-old Antonio Price, who has been missing since Saturday morning.
Price was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 22 leaving his home on Sprague Avenue. Police say he has autism and cerebral palsy and may walk with a noticeable limp, but he is able to communicate verbally and is mobile enough to cover significant distances on foot.
Investigators also say he may have money and could use public transportation, such as a bus or train, to leave the area. His family told police he has traveled to New York City in the past by mass transit.
Authorities do not have an updated clothing description but say Price may still be wearing the outfit he had on Saturday: a green jacket, camouflage pants, green shoes, and a black backpack. He may also be carrying a laptop computer.
Middletown police say they do not believe he is in imminent danger, but his family is concerned for his welfare. Multiple agencies, including New York State Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Town of Wallkill police, are assisting with the search.
