The U.S. Senate has voted last night to confirm Maloney's appointment as the U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The organization, headquartered in Paris, is made up of 38 countries and promotes international economic growth.
Maloney previously represented New York's 18th Congressional District from 2013 to 2023.
