A school trip took a dangerous turn Wednesday after a bus carrying 37 students crashed in Yonkers.

The bus was only a block away from School 21 when police say a minivan hit the right front side of the bus on the corner of McClean Avenue and Sanford Street. All of the students were taken to St. Joseph?s Hospital. Six students were treated for minor injuries.

Residents say many drivers go faster than the 25 mph posted speed limit in the area. It is not known if police issued any tickets in the incident.
