Spring Valley High School officials say they have added additional police presence after the school and Spring Valley Village Hall received fake bomb threats on Monday.
The school was evacuated after an email threat was sent through a hacked social media account. That same account was also used to send a threat to Village Hall.
Spring Valley's mayor says he feels both the school and Village Hall are secure.
"It's kind of a headache when you have bomb threats. You don't know if it's real or not real. You have to put everything in action, and I think the police are doing a fantastic job," says Mayor Demeza Delhomme.
Police are currently trying to trace the emails back to their source. They have ruled out any connection to the owner of the account that was hacked.
