WHAT'S NEW: The Hudson Valley set another new record high for this Thursday. White Plains hit 87 Friday afternoon, besting the previous record of 78 set back in 1968.
WHAT'S NEXT: The chance for rain goes up for the weekend as the temperatures cool down. But those daytime highs will still be trending above the average high of 59/60. Rain arrives Saturday afternoon and through the evening hours. Another system comes through late Sunday evening and leaves Monday afternoon.
