After nearly a century of being covered in concrete, the Saw Mill River is finally visible in downtown Yonkers.
A grand opening ceremony is taking place today for phase one of the multimillion-dollar "Saw Mill Daylighting" project.
The river was covered in order to make a parking lot in 1920s.
The festivities are taking place at the Yonkers Metro-North train station in Larkin Plaza.
