The Saw Mill River Parkway is reopened after a deadly crash shut down parts of the road Wednesday night.
Police say a man was struck by a car while crossing the parkway at around 6:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to Saint John's Riverside Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the man was crossing the parkway from west to east at Lawrence Street when he was hit in the northbound lanes.
Westchester County police say the driver who struck the man did remain on the scene.
