A Carmel mother was killed in a car accident Monday on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Kisco.
Officials say 38-year-old Rossy Sanchez lost control of her Honda CRV at around 9 p.m. between exits 33 and 34 near the Chappaqua and Mount Kisco border.
Police say the car was going northbound when it overturned and rolled deep into the woods.
Detectives say Sanchez was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident. She was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Sanchez's two sons, ages 12 and 13, were also found in the car and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Saw Mill River Parkway reopened at around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
