A Saugerties man has been sentenced to five years in jail for sexually abusing a child under the age of 11.
Prosecutors say the victim’s father caught 43-year-old Ian Welling in the act of molesting the child.
Welling will also serve 10 years of post-release supervision upon the completion of his sentence.
