High school students in Yonkers are walking Thursday to help people in need for the holiday.
About 300 Sacred Heart High School students came out to raise money for their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
They've also collected money on their own and gotten help from nearby supermarkets to ensure needy families will have food this Thanksgiving. So far, the school has raised more than $4,000.
Students will make about 300 baskets of Thanksgiving food, including turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. They'll be given out at Sacred Heart High School on Nov. 25.
