Rye Brook police arrested 13 people in an online prostitution sting.

Police say they drew 13 people to a Rye Brook motel room after posting an ad on craigslist.org offering erotic services. Police arrested 11 men, mostly from Westchester and Rockland, who they say offered a total of almost $2,000 for sex. Police also arrested one woman who put out an ad on the site and the woman who drove her to the motel as well. All those arrested face misdemeanor charges.

It was the second sting for the Rye Brook police. The first, in January, resulted in 66 arrests. With the success of these operations, police say that they?ll continue monitoring the Internet.
