Rockland volunteers honor elderly veterans with yard cleanup

A dedicated group of volunteers in Rockland, known as "Operation Leaf Drop," has committed themselves to assisting elderly veterans and their widowed spouses.
This annual initiative, coordinated through a Facebook group, mobilizes volunteers on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
This year, a team of 15 volunteers participated, dedicating their time to rake the yards of six houses belonging to local veterans.
Their collective effort aims to express gratitude and appreciation for the veterans' service through this act of community service.
