Nursing homes around New York are getting access to the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
Around 60 residents and staff at the Tolstoy Foundation Nursing Home in Rockland County got their first doses of the vaccine Monday morning.
More than 30 residents at the home died early in the pandemic.
CVS pharmacists from Spring Valley administered the vaccine.
The staff and residents who received their first dose will need to get their second dose in the coming weeks.
