yesterdayTwo Rockland County residents have been sentenced in connection with a violent beating and carjacking in 2021.
Officials say 28-year-old Dwayne Hicks, of Spring Valley, and 27-year-old Tnaiya Williams, of New City, lured, stabbed and beat the victim before taking his car.
Hicks was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Williams was sentenced to four, according to court documents.
