Rockland County law enforcement officials on Tuesday announced the arrests of 30 people as part of a drug ring takedown known as "Operation Money Mike."
The operations is named for Michael McMullen, the alleged kingpin of a drug business that cleared about $500,000 a year selling heroin, crack and powdered cocaine on the streets of Spring Valley and other Rockland communities.
The suspects arrested range in age from 23 to 61 and had alleged connections back to "Money Mike."
Authorities say McMullen ran his operation out of a room at the Days Inn hotel in Nanuet.
Police are still investigating other gangs operating in Rockland County.
