As the state prepares to ramp up COVID-19 vaccinations Monday, there is a shortage of supply in Rockland County, according to the Rockland Health Department.
The department says the county has run out of its supply of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, and state officials say there is nothing they can do to help.
The county exhausted its 1,000 dose supply of the vaccine in just three days. Rockland County Executive Ed Day is asking residents to stay patient and remain calm.
He says that he doesn't have an estimated time as to when the county will receive more vaccines.
While the county government has run out of vaccines, News 12 was told doses are still available at hospitals in Rockland.
