Rockland County on Tuesday evening celebrated Black History Month by recognizing the remarkable achievements of three distinguished residents who have made significant contributions to their community.
Dr. Carolynn Julien, a respected leader, coach and mentor at Farleigh Dickinson University, was honored for her exemplary service in Rockland County.
Dennis McGloster, the founder of the Rockland chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, was acknowledged for his impactful leadership and community engagement.
Christian Sampson, a retired town clerk and registrar of vital statistics for the Town of Ramapo, was also recognized for his dedicated service to the community.
