Legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Darlene Love made a special visit to Westchester yesterday.
The 60s music icon was at the White Plains City Center last night for a screening of her Oscar-winning documentary "20 Feet to Stardom." The film follows Love and the first black backup singers in the 1960s and 70s.
Love says the film has an important message for anyone following their dreams. "It shows that you are never too old. If you have a passion and a dream, pursue it, and I hope everyone gets from this [that] it's an individual thing. Whatever it is you want to do, it's possible."
Love tells News 12 that Oprah is planning to do a movie on the documentary -- which is set to be released by the end of the year.
