A scenic cruise is offering a unique way to explore the Hudson River right from Peekskill.
RMS Cruises invites guests aboard the Emerald Princess for a mix of sightseeing, relaxation and entertainment.
“We have all different types of public cruises and private cruises,” said owner and captain Frank Adam.
Sunset cruises run for about two hours, taking passengers north under the Bear Mountain Bridge and near West Point before heading back.
“Tonight we're going to be going north… then we’ll turn around and come back,” said co-owner Laura Adam.
Passengers can enjoy multiple spaces on board, from open-air decks with river views to a main salon and sky lounge that transforms into a nightclub with music and lights.
Food and drinks are available, with snacks offered during evening cruises and full meals included on brunch sailings.
Some guests prefer the quieter back deck, while others head to the bow for panoramic views.
Along the way, there’s also a chance to spot wildlife, including eagles and osprey nesting near the river.
Owners say the experience keeps people coming back.
“I just love giving people an amazing experience and seeing their joy when they get off the boat,” Adam said.
With scenic views, music and time on the water, the cruise offers a different kind of getaway close to home.
